The Music Journal is the weekly video diary documenting the creative process behind the construction of the musical and narrative project of Solaria.
Unlike finished music videos, which present the tracks as standalone works, the Music Journal shows the work as it happens: attempts, discards, insights, technical problems, compositional decisions, specially built instruments, relationships between music, storytelling, worldbuilding, and sound research.
The format was born from the need to make the process visible without turning it into an overly polished product. Each episode works as a small weekly window into the workshop: not a tutorial, not a performance, not a definitive explanation, but a trace of the journey through which the compositions take shape.

Function within the project
The Music Journal has three main functions:
- to maintain weekly productive continuity;
- to retrospectively clarify what happened in the creative work;
- to open a relationship with those following the project, showing not only the final result but also its formation.
Over time, the series has also become a tool for internal orientation. The fact of recounting each week the point reached forces one to recognize what the next step is, avoiding excessive dispersion between composition, storytelling, sound research, music theory, and worldbuilding.
Relationship with other spaces
The Music Journal does not replace the other levels of the project, but accompanies them.
The tracks published on YouTube and music platforms constitute the level of the finished work.
This site instead collects the structural part: places, cultures, symbolic systems, measurement of time, maps, characters, and narrative articulation.
The Music Journal is positioned between these two poles: it is the place of the strictly musical process, where the compositions are observed as they are born.
In this sense, the playlist functions as a chronological archive of the creative workshop.
