Axia is the region of science, one of the five continental nations of Solaria. Together with Castalia it forms the Alliance of the North, the northern coalition of the island.
Within the system of symbolic geography, Axia answers the why of things: it is the territory in which reality is investigated, understood, and formalized.

Domains
The inhabitants of Axia devote themselves to mathematics, physics, chemistry, astronomy, logic, geometry, and all the disciplines that seek the laws governing reality.
Capitals
The two capitals of Axia are Mugen (D♭) and Nexus (G♭), separated from each other by a perfect fifth interval.
Mugen is raw infinity, the universe before being understood, that which exceeds any system of thought; Nexus is the bond, the network of physical and mathematical laws that gives structure to infinity. The dialogue between the two cities embodies the limit of reason and, at the same time, its necessity.

Symbolism
The two capitals hold the northern pole of two elements: Mugen that of space, understood as infinity, and Nexus that of matter, understood as form. Both are joined by a meridian to the respective opposite cities of Iridia, Gea, and Prahna.
