Solaria is divided into seven nations: five continental regions and two minor islands. Each corresponds to a fundamental sphere of human activity and, in the system of symbolic geography, to a polarity of the seven elements.

The five central regions
The five continental regions represent the central fields of human activity: nature, technology, science, communication, philosophy and religion. Each of them answers a fundamental question and gathers within itself numerous disciplines, traced back to the region according to their epistemological origin.
Each central region is defined not by a single capital, but by a pair of cities that express its two inner poles. This choice is not decorative: it responds to a principle of dynamism and complementarity, whereby each nation lives through an inner tension, an unstable balance between two poles that call to one another, correct one another, and complete one another.
The minor islands
Alma and Eos differ from the central regions because they do not represent a field of knowledge, but the path of human experience: the crossing of the five main territories. Alma is consciousness, the subject who observes; Eos is information, the message that comes to meet it, and together, art—that is, the synthesis in which all the nations of the continent converge: science and technology, nature, language, and the question of meaning.
They are the geographically most distant and separate zones of Solaria and, unlike the other nations, each has only one capital: indeed, they represent unity, a unity yet to be restored.
The three dimensions of the island
The seven nations gather into three great areas, which are not territories in the classical sense, but fields of experience.
The Austral League, to the south, represents the world of technology, of concrete action, of production and of the operative bond with nature: it is the place where knowledge becomes doing. The Northern Alliance represents the world of science, of organization and structured thought: it is the place where reality is investigated, understood, and formalized.
Between these two polarities lies human experience, the field in which consciousness, through art, emerges as a response to the world. It is the space in which the human being does not merely know and build, but interprets, contemplates, and creates—not for a specific purpose, as happens in the other nations, but to give an answer to their own existence.
Altaluna lives divided between the two coalitions, while Alma and Eos remain neutral. Upon human experience, placed in the middle, therefore falls the possibility—and the responsibility—of deepening or healing the rift of the war.
