Castalia is the region of communication and social sciences, one of the five continental nations of Solaria. Together with Axia it forms the Northern Alliance, the northern coalition of the island.
In the system of symbolic geography Castalia answers the question of who: it is the territory of relationship, of the transmission of thought, values, and information within human organization.

Capitals
The two capitals of Castalia are Qo (B♭) and Amal (E♭), separated by an interval of a perfect fifth.
Qo is the domain of empathy, of affective and emotional resonance, and of the earliest forms of non-verbal language; Amal is hope, the pedagogical vision that transforms the future into a shared aspiration. Between the two cities, communication moves from the condition that makes encounter possible to the word that builds the future.

Symbolism
The two capitals hold the northern pole of two elements: Qo that of potential energy, and Amal that of time, understood as vision. Both are connected by a meridian to the respective opposite cities of Theknus, Yantra, and Sankofa.
