Alma is the only capital of the island of Alma and the sole point of landing on a land surrounded by the Horizon of the Manifold.
The city represents bare consciousness: the subject that observes, the place of mystery concerning the nature and origin of the human being. No field of knowledge is cultivated here, but rather the question that precedes all knowledge.
Symbolism
- Note: B
- Nation: Alma
- Corresponding city: Ruah, at a distance of a tritone
- Element: consciousness
- Meridian: consciousness and soul
The meridian of consciousness runs through Alma and questions the human being not for what they do or build, but for what they are: it is the point at which the human being recognizes themselves as a subject, as a center of experience, and becomes aware of the mystery that constitutes them.
The notes of Alma and Ruah, B and F, form the tritone excluded from the two pentatonic scales at war: individual consciousness belongs to neither of the two factions.
